Two businesswomen from Berkswell have been selected for inclusion in the 12th volume of the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review book. Sue Salisbury and Jessica Earle of the Classic Country Pub Design Company in Berkswell were just one of 500 worldwide entries with only 50 of the world’s designers cherry-picked for inclusion in the book. 3 ASU students share scholarship in contest

Three Arizona State University students will split a $750 scholarship for their top entry in the ninth annual CHAIRity event. Their entry was among 11 chairs that make a statement about domestic violence. All 11 will be auctioned at the ninth annual CHAIRity event, "Sit a Moment, Stop the Violence," at 6 p.m. next Wednesday night at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Design students donate skills to Westmead Hospital

Westmead Hospital recently approached Design Centre Enmore to come up with ideas for a chill out room for young patients. Dr Simon Clarke was pleasantly surprised by the response. Dr Clarke is a member of the Greater Metropolitan Clinical Taskforce (GMCT) Transition Network. The group aims to improve the care for young people with chronic health problems as they move from paediatric to adult health services.
