Tabbed Browsing

It is essential when you are doing news stories that you take advantage of tabs. Tabs allows you to open multiple websites within the same browser. Typically news stories are done by cutting and pasting title, content and link. Using the tabs in Internet Explorer or Firefox really speeds up the cutting and pasting process.

Open Career Connection Network site in your browser of choice. Press Ctrl-T to open a new tab. On the new tab open a new site. You can then switch back and forth between the two tabs to cut and paste your information.

How to Find News Stories

One of the tricks that works very well is to use Google News to find news stories. Go to Google and type in your keywords, click on search, then at the very top of the page click on the News link. This will take you to all of the recent news stories for your keywords. Browse through the list until you see some relevant news stories for your niche or topic. If you still don't see anything good, try changing your search keywords.
