Watson directs Microsoft strategy

MICROSOFT has appointed Peter Watson as director of platform strategy for its Australian operations, saying the move emphasises the importance of Software + Services to the company. Watson's new S+S role expands his existing responsibilities as chief security adviser and will involve nurturing the S+S platform.
